Meet John
Your FAA Designated Pilot Examiner
My Aviation Story
When I was seven years old, I was taken for a ride in a helicopter. That was the moment I knew that I wanted to become a pilot. I learned to fly in high school at the Medina Municipal Airport (1G5) and earned my private pilot license. Upon graduation, I attended The Ohio State University to complete my degree in aviation and additional flight ratings.
In my 10+ years in aviation, I have logged over 4,500 hours in many types of aircraft from the low-and-slow Piper Cub to the high-and-fast Learjet. Today, I make my living looking out a window of a Cessna Citation XLS+ as a corporate pilot.
I have been in your shoes; it is my goal to make your checkride experience a fair, relaxed, positive, and enjoyable flight.
